Happy Birthday Bubba and Dad!

For Dad's birthday this year I made him a special card that fit well with his present (a home depot gift card). Since he loves tools of any kind I thought he would enjoy a gift card to get what he wanted. I used my cricut machine to cut out most of the pieces and embelished the card holder with ink and brads.

Also for his birthday since his favorite cake is coconut, I made him a french coconut, chocolate fudge cake. (a new recipe I tried out). The cake was  a huge success and it tasted AWESOME! (I think this may be my new favorite flavor).

This year was also my brothers big "40th" birthday. To celebrate Inez threw him a poker party at their house. I made the cake and stayed in-line with the theme I made a poker table cake.
