Sam's Pecan Pie

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This Thanksgiving morning I would like to share a story that's near and dear to my heart. Sam was my best friends mom. My friend and her mom lived 2 houses down from time we born all through high school. I can remember EVERY thanksgiving Sam baking tons of her famous pecan pie and always bringing us two every year.

About 13 years Sam lost her fight to cancer, she was like a mother to me and is very missed. My friend Candi gave me her mom's recipe for Pecan Pie and every Thanksgiving as I make this pie I think of her and the MANY MANY memories we had at her house. I even make 2 extra to give away just like she always did.
